Dr. Billow’s medical career has taken him throughout the country, with the last years of training at the Mayo Clinic. There he strove to uphold the three Mayo Shields of Patient Care, Research and Education.
Over the years he has engaged in multiple national presentations at the American Academy of Sports Medicine as well as the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Billow has been recognized for his work in several peer reviewed medical journals including JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association) and the Mayo Clinic Proceedings.
Dr. Billow’s expertise complements his surgical colleagues by adding electrodiagnostic testing and fluoroscopically guided interventional spine care to NWOS. These techniques treat spinal and musculoskeletal conditions in a nonsurgical fashion.
When not in the office Dr. Billow enjoys time with his family. He and his wife are active members of their community and church, enjoying a variety of activities along with their three children. Dr. Billow enjoys outdoor activities including cycling, hiking and fly fishing.
