Overview of Dr. Bailey

Robert W. Bailey, MD is an actively practicing general surgeon in Miami with more than 25 years of clinical experience.

Dr. Bailey has performed thousands of procedures ranging from routine operations such as laparoscopic gallbladder removal, hernia repair, and appendectomy. He also performs advanced operations such as anti-reflux surgery and repair of complex incisional hernias. He has experience with many advanced laparoscopic procedures.

Dr. Bailey has trained more than 5,000 general surgeons in the United States and abroad in laparoscopic surgery.

Dr. Bailey received his undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is on the teaching faculty at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.
