Robert Althoff, MD, is a psychiatrist based in Burlington, VT, with a subspecialty in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. He completed his education at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 1999, and furthered his training with fellowships and residencies at Massachusetts General Hospital/McLean Hospital, Washington University/B-JH/SLCH Consortium, and University of Vermont Medical Center. Currently, he serves as Chair at The University of Vermont Health Network, having previously been the Interim Chair. His areas of expertise include learning disorders, tourette syndrome, bipolar disorders, and mental disorders. Dr. Althoff has also made significant contributions to his field through a number of publications, including works published in the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry and Human Development.
