- I have my CAQ in Hand Surgery through the American Board of Surgery. I have 15 years of experience on the faculty at UC Davis, where I am a professor of orthopaedic surgery (really a misnomer since my training was in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery). My interests are hand trauma, microsurgery including free flaps and replantation, and elective hand and wrist surgery. I am unable to take general orthopaedic call, but I have been taking 10 days of hand call per month for the last10 years.
