• Dr. Rick Brewer is an Emergency Medicine specialist based in Watkinsville, GA. He earned his medical degree in 1986 from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine and completed his Emergency Medicine residency from 1986 to 1989 at Corewell Health – Grand Rapids/Michigan State University. He last served as Chief Resident 1988/1989. He has been recognized as a Fellow (FACEP) by the American College of Emergency Physicians. He enjoyed serving in several capacities during clinical practice in Emergency Medicine and has evolved into administrative work serving in the capacity of Chief Medical Officer. This evolution has been rewarding in that opportunities to improve "care at the bedside" are not just one patient at a time. Recognizing the vast expanse of this void, and need to fill, continues to fuel the passion to deliver what the patient needs. To be part of an explosive growth phase in his current role has been rewarding and yet another opportunity to serve.
