Dr. Richard Weiss is a psychiatrist based in New York, NY, with extensive training in psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. He graduated from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 1971 and completed his residency in psychiatry at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia Campus. Dr. Weiss holds a certificate in psychoanalysis from the New York Psychoanalytic Institute. He he has served as Dean at the New York Psychoanalytic Institute and as a Clinical Associate Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine. In 2015, he received the Charles Brenner Award from The New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.
