Summary
- 21 yrs faculty emphasizing FM with high risk OB (2500 deliveries). The residency lost accreditation before hired as director, then expanded with national reputation. Cared for his own patients for 36 yrs. Many grads entered rural sites. In 2008 created/directed a rural hawaii hospitalist program in a hospital that just lost accreditation. By 2016 it was given the only 5 star rating in the state.
