  • I am both a clinician and researcher. My research has focused on the cause of chronic kidney disease, obesity, metabolic syndrome and diabetes with a focus on the role of uric acid and fructose. I also do research on climate change. I am s founding editor of Comprehensive Clinical Nephrology
