- Dr. Jackson is one of the founders and owners of The Neurobehavioral Medicine Group, an outpatient psychiatric treatment center in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Dr. Jackson has dedicated his medical career to caring for adults, adolescents, children and families. He also treats high risk groups including those who are incarcerated and has gained recognition through his various presentations.
He is also extremely dedicated to various research projects focused on the latest research and potential treatment options for a variety of disease states including schizophrenia, bipolar, and major depressive disorders. He also serves as a Senior Psychiatrist at the Women’s Huron Valley Correctional Facility in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Dr. Jackson attended undergraduate school at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI, where he graduated with high honors while majoring in Physiology. Dr. Jackson obtained his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed his general psychiatric residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine and his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Michigan, School of Medicine.
He is board certified by The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Adult, Adolescent and Child Psychiatry, with added qualifications in Forensic Psychiatry. He is an Associate Clinical Professor in the department of psychiatry at Wayne State University and at Oakland University William Beaumont Schools of Medicine. He is an Assistant Adjunct Clinical Professor at the University Of Michigan, School of Medicine in the Department Of Psychiatry. He is the Director of the Forensic Psychiatry rotation for the Henry Ford Hospital, Psychiatric Residency Program.
Dr. Jackson has published several articles, and has presented at international conferences including the US Psychiatric Congress and the American Psychiatric Association’s annual meetings.
