Dr. Richard Gualtieri is an oncology/oncolgy specialist previously located in Huntsville, AL. He graduated in 1977 from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed his internal medicine residency as well as his Hematology/ Oncology fellowship at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He also served as an assistant professor and associate scientist at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 1984 to 1988. Dr. Gualtieri has published several studies in prominent medical journals, notably contributing to research on juvenile chronic myelogenous leukemia and stem cell biology. His work has been widely cited, demonstrating his experience and involvement in hematologic oncology research.
