Richard Davis, MD, is an ophthalmologist based in Hauppauge, NY. He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the University at Buffalo (1988-1991) and his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in 1986. Additionally, he finished a transitional year internship at Robert Packer Hospital (1986-1987). Dr. Davis has specific experience in glaucoma and refractive cataract surgery. He was published in the American Journal of Ophthalmology in 2003. He has been recognized with the Meaningful Use Stage 1 Certification from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in 2012 and is a Fellow (FAAO) with the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
