Richard Chua, MD, is a neurosurgeon based in Tucson, AZ, specializing in brain and spinal tumors, cerebrovascular neurosurgery, and neurosurgical spine surgery. He completed his medical education and training at Indiana University School of Medicine and holds a Master's in Biology from Purdue University. Dr. Chua currently serves as a professor at Banner - University Medical Center Tucson and the University of Arizona College of Medicine, and he is a section chief at Northwest Medical Center. His expertise includes neurosurgical oncology, minimally invasive spine surgery, and interventional neuroradiology. He has published several works on robotic-assisted spinal surgeries and minimally invasive approaches.
