Dr. Cain is active in shoulder and elbow research and has authored a number of publications and book chapters, including presenting at regional and national conferences. His current research interests include pre-operative planning for shoulder replacement and the correction of factors that may lead improved implant longevity. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the Florida Orthopaedic Society.
