Dr. Richard Blumenfeld is a cardiologist based in Framingham, MA. He completed his medical education at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 1972, followed by a transitional internship at California Pacific Medical Center. He underwent a psychiatry residency at the Jamaica Plains VA Healthcare System affiliated with Tufts Medical School, and later completed an internal medicine residency at Rutgers Health. Dr. Blumenfeld pursued fellowships in cardiovascular disease at Rutgers Health/Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and St Vincent Hospital. He is recognized for his contributions to cardiology as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and holds a CMS Meaningful Use Stage 1 Certification from Epic Systems Corporation. He is a clinical instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School. And is currently retired from active practice.
