Summary
- I spent eleven years in Family Practice in Douglas, Az on the Mexican border. Found out I hated office practice. Switched to Emergency Medicine for the next 18 years and loved it. Left the ED when the hospital I worked at closed. Went to Urgent care for 6 years. Then retired in 2013.
I gave up medicine entirely and switched to something I've always wanted to do - writing. Now I'm a relatively successful author: short stories, mostly mysteries or sci-fi, historical articles. I have published my first novel and am working on the sequel.
