Dr. Renato Roman is a nephrologist based in Roanoke, VA. He earned his medical degree from the University of the East College of Medicine in 1991 and completed a nephrology fellowship at the University of Virginia Medical Center from 1996-1998. Dr. Roman has extensive experience in metabolic syndrome, general nephrology, acute renal failure, chronic kidney disease, and chronic renal failure. He has held positions at various institutions, including Carilion Clinic, HCA Capital Division LewisGale Regional Health System, Physicians Care of Virginia PC, and Partners In Nephrology Care. Dr. Roman has contributed to the field with a publication in the Journal of the American Society of Nephrology.
