Summary
- After receiving my medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus, I completed my internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City and went on to obtain specialized fellowship training in rheumatologic dermatology at Boston University Medical Center in Boston. I’m currently pursuing a second specialty in dermatology at Ponce Health Science University’s ACGME-accredited Dermatology Residency Program.
My clinical and research interests include connective tissue diseases, such as cutaneous lupus, dermatomyositis, and morphea, and complex medical dermatology, including psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and vasculitis.
