Summary
- I am the Department of Medicine Chair at the Eastern Virginia School of Medicine, Norfolk, Virginia. I have the honor of leading a Department with an exceptionally talented faculty and highly skilled clinicians in its various Divisions including Pulmonary Critical Care, Endocrinology, and Infectious Diseases. Together, Department faculty strive hard to provide the best clinical care to patients, to advance the field of medicine through teaching the next generation of physicians (fellows, residents, and medical students), and through clinical research. Before taking up the Chairman's role in 2021, I was the inaugural Chair of the Division of Hospital Medicine and Professor of Medicine at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, Richmond, Virginia.
