- The recipient of a bachelor's degree in biology from Hobart College, Dr. Raymond Reiter studied medicine at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and earned his MD through the Fifth Pathway Program at Hackensack University Medical Center in 1983. From there, Dr. Raymond Reiter completed a general surgery internship and two-year physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at NYU Medical Center. He finished a one-year sports medicine fellowship at Braintree Hospital through Tufts University in 1987 and earned board certification from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation the following year.
Early in his career, Dr. Raymond Reiter served as a team physician with professional sports teams like the New York Giants and New Jersey Nets. Supplementing these roles, he held a membership with the Association of Professional Team Physicians and American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
Dr. Reiter later worked as an associate physician with Mayhill Medical Group and Atlas Spine and Interventional Medicine. As of May 2018, he has evaluated and treated sports-related injuries at North Jersey Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Institute.
