- Dr. Pan is a clinical psychiatrist with the UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program and the lead clinician at the UPMC Sports Medicine Student Athlete Clinic. He is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from Stanford University and his medical degree at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Pan is board certified in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. His current research interests include the diagnosis of psychiatric symptoms after head injury and the development of effective treatment. Dr. Pan is a Distinguished Fellow of both the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Psychiatric Association.
