Summary

• Cristin Rassi’s nursing background consists of general acute neuroscience, Neurocritical Care, Surgical ICU, and Trauma Services Management at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. She graduated from Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing in Peoria, IL in 1996 with her BSN and in May 2004 with her MSN. Cristin has been an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Clinical Nurse Specialist since 2004 working with Neurosurgery until 2014. She is certified through ANCC as an ACNS-BC. Cristin served as the Vice President of ISAPN for a two year term while continuing to work for Neurosurgery specializing in complex spine, neuro trauma, concussion, and various complex neurosurgical needs. Cristin managed and treated general neurology patients at OSF Galesburg Clinic for two years when their General Neurologist left practice, while also serving as the APP Manager and leading the Concussion Center developments. In collaboration with OSF Leadership, she leads the Neuroscience APP Fellowship. Cristin returned to Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing for a post masters degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated in December 2019 and is certified through ANCC as a FNP-BC. Cristin is married and has three sons. Cristin is a Christian and is actively involved in her church.
