Teasdale endowed chair. He completed an 8-year stint as the Regional Chairman at the Permian Basin Campus. Under his leadership, the campus expanded their clinical enterprise, physician training programs, and research productivity. They are committed to improving access to high-quality care for people suffering from Diabetes and cardiometabolic disorders in West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. His work includes setting up two free clinics, for primary care and diabetes care in persons with no insurance. Dr. C is one of the early adapters of AI/ML and technology solutions to improve access to quality healthcare. He developed EZDiabETes, a mobile application that facilitates patient-healthcare team communications to prevent emergencies and unnecessary hospital visits. He serves as an advisor for technology startups in the healthcare and education space. C3Rx.ai, is a cutting-edge healthcare technology platform designed to make clinical encounters more patient-friendlier. GuardRailz.ai is a secure, and cost-effective AI platform for education, creating customizable learning experiences for learners of all ages. His research identifies mechanisms to prevent and delay diabetes and its dreaded complications. Dr. C is the recipient of numerous research grants, endowments, and awards. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and a Fellow of the Endocrine Alliance Academy (FEAA). He was also inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society (AΩA).
