Summary
- To my knowledge, medicine is the only profession where I can make a difference every single day in someone’s life in person. I am especially focused on reducing morbidity and mortality rates through proper counselling and timely intervention.
What I love about my job is the people I meet every day from different backgrounds, perspectives and experiences. I learn so much about life from them. As a physician, I am able to help by not only curing diseases but by also being there for someone who needs an ear.
My philosophy of care is that prevention is better than cure. I get utmost satisfaction in my job when I am able to prevent progression of kidney dysfunction by treating underlying chronic conditions like hypertension, diabetes, vasculitis, connective tissue disorders, or other conditions.
