Summary
- I am board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine. I completed my medical schooling at JIPMER in India and moved to the US in 2005. I graduated from the University of Texas School of Public health with an MPH degree. I went on to complete a residency in internal medicine, followed by a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, also at MUSC. I joined the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy and Sleep Medicine as an Assistant Professor in July 2013.
My clinical interests are in the areas of Pulmonary Vascular Disease, Pulmonary Hypertension, Advanced COPD and Interstitial Lung Disease.
My research interests are to develop novel imaging based biomarkers to diagnose and monitor pulmonary vascular diseases like pulmonary hypertension.
