- Dr. Rafael Ufret-Vincenty, an Ophthalmologist with a subspecialty in Retinal Disease, is currently stationed in Dallas, Texas. He completed his Residency from Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary/Harvard Medical School and followed with a Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He joined the staff of UT Southwestern Zale Lipshy Hospital in 2006 where he is now an Assistant Professor. He has significant experience dealing with retinopathy, macular degeneration, diabetic complications, and vitreoretinal disease. In addition to this, Dr. Ufret-Vincenty has testified to his scientific interests with multiple published articles and participated in a clinical trial on devices for low vision patients. He has also been awarded the CMS Meaningful Use Stage 1 Certification and is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Macula Society, the American Opthalmological Society, and ARVO.
