Summary

  • Maya Angelou's wisdom, "People may forget words and actions, but never how you made them feel," guides my focus on leaving a lasting impact through compassion.

I’m a third-year Family Medicine resident at Keck Medicine of USC with a focus on comprehensive primary care, medical education, and health equity. My clinical training includes managing complex and rare conditions at top institutions like Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and serving underserved populations through AltaMed.

I’m an AAFP Emerging Leaders Institute Scholar, where I led a project on physician well-being for resident parents. My research, particularly as an Infectious Disease Research Assistant at the Lundquist Institute, has resulted in multiple publications and poster presentations, showcasing my commitment to advancing healthcare through evidence-based approaches.

I’m also passionate about mentorship and diversity, founding Filipin@ American Medicine (FAM) at EVMS and mentoring students from underrepresented backgrounds. My work extends to international outreach and medical Spanish service-learning, reinforcing my dedication to culturally sensitive care.

I’m seeking opportunities in fellowship, academic, or leadership roles where I can merge my clinical, research, and educational skills. Let’s connect if you’re interested in collaborating to advance health equity and physician wellness in family medicine.
