Summary
- I am a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Boston University School of Medicine. I completed my Internal Medicine residency from Westchester Medical Center, New York Medical College, NY. I am formally trained in medical education with fellowship in Academic Medical Education and Masters in Health Professions Education from Boston University.
Clinically, I practice as a primary care physician and on inpatient wards at Boston Medical Center. I have served as an Associate Clerkship Director for the fourth year medical students in the Advanced Internal Medicine Ambulatory Clerkship at Boston University School of Medicine. I am the Director of Early Clinician Development and as part of that role, I designed and established a primary care comprehensive novel curriculum to support transition of Internal Medicine interns as primary care physicians. I am a preceptor for Internal Medicine residents in their continuity clinic. I am an elected member of the Academy of Medical Educators, a select group of faculty who serve as advisor, coach and doctoring facilitator for students in years 1-4. I am leading an academic coaching program for medical students. I am interested in medical education with particular interest in improving transition of UME to GME.
