Summary

  • I am board certified anesthesiologist and board certified Intensivist. My areas of interest are neuro anesthesia, orthopedic, trauma and ENT anesthesia. I am also passionate about reducing waste in the OR and pursuing green anesthesia. I was instrumental in removing Desflurane from our ORs that led to significant reduction in green house gas emissions emanating from volatile anesthetics . I have created green team within our department, pursued many projects to address plastic waste, bio hazardous, pharmaceutical waste and started plastics recycling. I received Inaugural Sustainability Award at Stanford this year for my efforts in greening the OR.
