He completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor and fellowship at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. He is board certified in both psychiatry and neurology. Dr. Bowman is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Medical Association.

    Dr. Bowman has been an invited presenter at numerous medical conferences, both nationally and internationally, including the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholars Program National Meeting.

    As author or co-author, Dr. Bowman’s work has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals, including Orthopsychiatry and Academic Psychiatry.
