- Dr. P. Daniel Knott is the double board-certified director of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the UCSF Medical Center since 2011. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at the Cleveland Clinic. He has extensive experience in rhinoplasty, aging face surgery, microvascular free tissue transfer, cutaneous post-Mohs facial repair, facial feminization surgery, and the treatment of facial paralysis. He has won multiple national awards for his teaching and research. He participates in NIH-supported research endeavors and co-directs two UCSF fellowships: Head and Neck Oncologic Microvascular Reconstruction and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is an invited lecturer to national and regional meetings and has authored over 60 scientific papers, book chapters, and review articles.
