Dr. Keats is a retired orthopedic surgeon in Lewis Delaware. He received his MD degree from Duke University and this was followed by two years of general surgery training and four years of orthopedic surgery residency all at Duke University. As part of his orthopedic residency, he spent six months at the Shriners hospital for crippled children in Greenville South Carolina. He completed his orthopedic surgery in 1975. Following discharge from the United States Army in 1977, Dr. Keats practiced orthopedic surgery in Morristown New Jersey for the next 31 years.
Dr. Keats is an emeritus member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society.
