Summary

  • I believe that the brain is a powerful organ at the interface between the mind, body and soul. As a neurohospitalist, I help guide patients through the journey of having an acute neurological illness, and prescribe the best available evidence-based treatments. As a Christian physician, I strive to be source of compassion and honest counseling, especially in conditions for which there is little treatment.

    In 2006 I was accepted into Northwestern University’s Honors Program in Medical Education where I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2009. I then received my medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 2013. I continued to do my medical internship, neurology residency, and vascular neurology fellowship and Northwestern University. After finishing my vascular neurology fellowship, I joined Kaiser Permanente at the Santa Clara Medical Center as a neurohospitalist and vascular neurologist. In 2019 I was appointed as an Assistant Professor in Neurology at Kaiser Boston University Medical School Campus.

    I work closely with inpatient medical providers to obtain the highest level of care in patients who are hospitalized with neurological conditions. I also have telemedicine responsibilities to evaluate patients with acute ischemic stroke.
