Summary
- I'm currently full-time GI and the primary interventional GI at my facility.
I perform all standard GI procedures. In addition I do colonic polyp EMR, ERCP with all interventions including ampullectomy and IR rendez-vous procedures, EUS with most interventions including transluminal stent placement, liver biopsy, celiac block and neurolysis, endoscopic necrosectomy, enteral stent placement (esophageal, duodenal, colonic), pneumatic dilation for achalasia. I do not do POEM, Barrett's ablation aside from EMR, primary EUS-guided rendez-vous or EDGE, or read esophageal or anorectal manometry.
I do not do pediatric GI (< 18 yrs old) aside from occasional ERCP or EUS for larger kids who will need to travel out of state otherwise.
