His research interests include mood disorders, suicide prevention, electroconvulsive therapy, transcranial magnetic stimulation, vagus nerve stimulation, the use of non-invasive monitoring of autonomic nervous system activity as a biomarker of suicidal ideation and a measure of treatment response in psychiatric disorders.
