Summary

• As a physician, I am committed to serving my community by creating team-based, systematic care wherever I work. I enjoy rural medicine working in rural emergency departments. I believe that solid relationships between providers, nurses, unit assistants, laboratory services, diagnostic imaging, maintenance, security and administration are essential to providing excellent patient care and creating a medical culture that is fulfilling. I am also passionate about international medical education, have served as a medical missionary to Kenya and currently spend part of my time providing training for physicians who work internationally through the Comprehensive Advanced Life Support (CALS) Course.
  
  As a husband and father, I work hard to balance a demanding career in medicine with the beautiful family God has provided for me. My wife, Angela, holds a Master of Education degree with which she has used in her work with Missionary Kids (MKs) and their families, helping them to get the resources they need to thrive. She has been a writer and social media director for World Gospel Mission (WGM), our mission sending agency, and coordinated our mission activity, also documenting our journey through our family blog.   We are currently back in the United States while our son receives the speech therapy he needs and our daughter attends a local public school. Angela and I are also in school, currently pursuing a Master of Biblical and Theological Studies through Dallas Theological Seminary. We are excited to be sharpening our hearts and minds for whatever plans God might have for our future. We recognize His influence in our relationships, activities and daily lives. We believe that He is the one guiding our journey and plan to serve him with the best of what He's provided for our family.
