- Peter J. Massa, MD, is an interventional radiologist based in Detroit, MI. He completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in 2020 after completing his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Henry Ford Hospital in 2019. He graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2014.
He has been working as an Interventional Radiologist at Henry Ford Medical Group since 2020. Dr. Massa has a special interest in liver related interventions including ablation and embolization of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), treatment of portal hypertension and its complications including ascites and varices via TIPS creation, and complex biliary interventions. He also specializes in men's health related interventions including prostate artery embolization (PAE) for lower urinary tract symptoms related to an enlarged prostate (BPH) and varicocele embolization.
He is also the program director of the Interventional Radiology Residency programs at Henry Ford Hospital.
