Dr. Peter Lewy is a pediatric nephrologist based in Highland Park, IL. He completed his medical education at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 1964 and furthered his training in pediatrics through residencies at institutions including the University of Illinois and McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University. Dr. Lewy has extensive experience in pediatrics, particularly in congenital urologic and renal disorders, pediatric dialysis, fluid and electrolyte disorders, and glomerular diseases. He worked with Pediatric Associates of the North Shore from 1980 to 2014. His research has been published in reputable journals, contributing to the fields of hypertension, polycystic kidney disease, nephrotic syndrome, and renal vein thrombosis, with multiple citations of his work by other scholars.
He retired in 2014.
