Summary
- Dr. Flores is originally from southern California and graduated cum laude from UCLA with a B.S. in History & minor in Asian American Studies. He then went on to medical school at Ross University. After completing his medical degree, Dr. Flores went onto research at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute and served as the Project Manager for the UCLA Gambling Studies Program. There, he co-authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and book chapters.
In addition to his interests in medical research, Dr. Flores has served as the Life Sciences Instructor at Wilshire Academy, an after-school academy serving motivated elementary and middle school students. Dr. Flores also strives towards mission work in the Philippines through the non-profit organization Hands Philippines. His work has taken him to various rural areas in the country to provide high-quality, personalized care for patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Dr. Flores is currently an Internal Medicine Resident at Hemet Global Medical Center, completing his final year of residency with expected graduation in July 2023.
