Summary
- I am a fellowship trained orthopedic spine surgeon with a focus on both minimally invasive surgery and open complex spine deformity surgery. I am currently an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthopedic surgery at Banner University Medical Center - Tucson. I earned his B.S. in Biophysics from UCLA before receiving my M.D. from New York Medical College in 2013. During medical school, I completed a year long research fellowship at the UCLA Biomechanics Research Laboratory. After medical school, I completed residency training in orthopedic surgery at the University of Arizona - Tucson, followed by further training with an orthopedic spine surgery fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, OR. I believes that each patient's care needs to be individualized for that patient. Everyone responds differently to various treatments and I believe that a nuanced discussion of all non-surgical and surgical options with the patient is essential for a good outcome. Seeing a physician for spine care can be a very stressful time, and I work hard to make myself available to patients and provide answers to whatever questions they may have about their care.
