- Dr. Paul Strachan is a pulmonologist with subspecialty in critical care medicine. His clinical focus was pulmonary hypertension and interstitial lung diseases. He completed his medical education at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine, followed by a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Strachan currently works as an Associate Director, Medical Affairs, Medical Strategy at Johnson & Johnson Pulmonary Hypertension. He also works part-time as an intensivist at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center and Peconic Bay Medical Center. His publication record includes research on pulmonary hypertension and critical care topics, and he has contributed to clinical trials on pulmonary arterial hypertension and pulmonary fibrosis therapies. He was previously an Associate Professor of Medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital where he was the director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Program.
