- Dr. Paul Nussbaum is a retired nephrologist who was based in Bridgeport and Deby, CT. Dr. Nussbaum graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 1972. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Jacobi Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine from 1972 to 1975, followed by nephrology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Health System from 1975 to 1978. He was Chief of Nephrology at Griffin Hospital in Derby from 1978 to 2020 and served there as Dept of Medicine Chairman from 1985 to 1995. He was an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine until his retirement in 2020. He is experienced in general nephrology and received the Meaningful Use Stage 1 Certification from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in 2011.
