Summary
- I am a board-certified Ophthalmologist in my 26th year of practice. Currently I am in a high-volume general ophthalmology practice where I perform roughly 1500 cataract surgeries yearly in addition to refractive surgeries which include Refractive Lens Exchange, LASIK, PRK and Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) procedures. Over the years I have traveled extensively to speak on a variety of topics, been a consultant to industry, given testimony to the FDA Panel on Ophthalmic Devices and participated in research and an FDA Trial. I have also been first to adopt many technologies including the first ICL implantation in Georgia after FDA approval and the first LASIK surgery locally in our area.
