Dr. Paul Gilliam Jr. is a retired general surgeon living in Albuquerque, NM, with subspecialties in trauma surgery and surgical critical care. He completed his medical education at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1978 and a residency in surgery at Keesler Medical Center from 1978 to 1983. He has experience in trauma and surgical critical care, general and gastrointestinal surgery, hernia surgery and abdominal wall reconstruction, foregut surgery, and geriatric surgery. He has been recognized with the CMS Meaningful Use Stage 1 Certification and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
