Summary

  • Currently the Dermatopathology Fellow in the MGH seat at the Harvard Combined Program. Board certified in AP/CP and prior chief resident in Pathology & Laboratory Medicine (AP/CP) at the University of Wisconsin Hospital & Clinics in Madison, WI. Preceding residency, I completed a one-year Post-Sophmore Fellowship in Pathology. My Dermatopathology fellowship training completes July 1st, 2018 after which I will be looking to join an established well-positioned group of Pathologists, Dermatopathologists, and Dermatologists who share my energy, work ethic, and team-based attitude.

I enjoy all aspects of pathology but have a particular interest in the morphologic complexity and clinical correlation of cutaneous and soft tissue disease where I place an emphasis on providing clear, relevant, and accurate diagnostic reports and personal communications to my clinical colleagues for high-quality patient care.

I have experience in areas of management, workflow development, quality, education, research, and digital pathology implementation. Developed by serving for 3-years as an Epic EHR Superuser, on the University Hospital Quality and Safety Committee, as House Staff Department Representative, and as Chief resident. I have also enjoyed teaching undergraduate, graduate, medical students and residents in small-group, auditorium lectures and scope-teaching settings.

In any future position, I look forward to being a valuable member of a diagnostic team; helping to run a flexible, efficient, and agile lab capable of responding to market changes and of making valued improvements; where I can develop a good working relationship with physician colleagues and clients in a strong and stable environment.
