- I graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 1983 and am board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and interventional Cardiology. I am devotional interested and experienced in interventional cardiology, peripheral endovascular interventions, carotid stunting and fully experienced as a structural heart interventionist with a skill set that includes transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), MitraClip, percutaneous ASD/PFO closure and left atrial appendage closure. My interventional cardiology interests and extensive experience includes treatment of CTOs, management and treatment of complex and high risk coronary interventions with mechanical circulatory support. I have long standing interests in interventional cardiovascular research having participated in more than 100 trials over my professional career.
