- Dr. Patrick Georgoff is board-certified in general surgery and surgical critical care, with additional training in trauma surgery. He attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, completed his general surgery residency and surgical critical care fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and completed a trauma surgery fellowship at the University of Texas Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas.
His clinical interests include trauma and emergency surgery, surgical critical care, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), hernias and abdominal wall reconstruction and chest wall reconstruction. Dr. Georgoff is passionate about medical education and enjoys working with medical students and residents. He is a frequent contributor to surgical education podcasts and has been recognized for his teaching ability with numerous awards. Dr. Georgoff has also conducted research in traumatic brain injury, hemorrhagic shock, and medical education.
