- Dr. Patricia Gabow is a retired academic nephrologist in Denver, CO. She received her medical degree from Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and had practiced for 48 years. She is experienced in autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease, fluid and electrolyte disorders, health policy and health care leadership. She has more than 150 publications including two recent books and over 500 citings. She was the CEO of Denver Health, a highly integrated healthcare system and Colorado's primary safety net system. She currently serves on the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation board and chairs the Lown Institute Board. She is Professor Emerita at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
