• Panayotis (Panos) Vardas, MD, is a tenured Associate Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He specializes in the full spectrum of adult cardiac surgery, with expertise in complex valve repair, arrhythmia surgery, minimally invasive and robotic approaches, multi-arterial revascularization and transcatheter valve therapies.
