Summary

  • I am board certified in Radiation Oncology and have been in practice since 2002. I graduated from The University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center. I enjoy my practice at The MD Anderson Cancer Center, as a Professor in Radiation Oncology. I serve as the Center Medical Director of the MD Anderson Cancer Center Woodlands campus. My clinical interests are breast cancer and central nervous system. I was previously the Medical Director of the Gamma knife unit for in conjunction with MDACC and CHI St. Luke's Woodlands for seven years successfully treating 100’s of malignant and benign brain lesions
    I serve on multiple hospital based, clinic based and faculty lead boards. I also work with philanthropy groups to help fund cancer research including The Bootwalk to end cancer for MDACC. I am active on multiple institutional committees, mentor, publish, volunteer and lead a local breast cancer support group, speak, lecture residents and am on the executive leadership for the faculty senate.
    I have written several blogs on cancer interest topics on MD Anderson's page called Cancer wise and on Twitter.
    I am grateful for the opportunity to work with an outstanding world class team at MD Anderson Cancer Center. I find medicine to be a fulfilling and ever expanding career. I am thankful to be part of advancing health & healing through treatment, education and research.
