Summary

  • I am a board-certified internal medicine/hospitalist physician currently licensed to practice in the states of New York and South Carolina.

I was born in port Harcourt and raised in the city of Benin, Edo state, Nigeria. I migrated to the United States in 2010 and completed my undergraduate education at the CUNY-city college of New York majoring in Biology (pre-med) and graduating with honors. Followed by medical school education at St. George’s University in Grenada and internal medicine residency training at SUNY Downstate medical center in New York.

During my medical school education and residency training i participated in several research including publications of case reports and quality improvement projects with recognition and awards at the American college of physicians as well as at SUNY Downstate medical center.

I was a Frontline resident physician at SUNY Downstate medical center in the fight against the Covid-19 global pandemic in New York and received a distinguished Covid-19 frontline service award.

My clinical interest lies in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of cancers most especially in underserved, minority, and African immigrant population. For this reason I am further training in advance radiation oncology at the medical university of South Carolina.
